Custom Content Portfolio

I have been a consumer relationship marketing, social media and branding specialist for years, and custom content is an integral part of those services. I’m fortunate to have worked with many top consumer brands owned by companies such as Kimberly-Clark, AT&T, Colgate-Palmolive, Philips Norelco and more. This page shows examples of custom work I’ve done on behalf of corporate clients.

Kimberly-Clark

As a brand steward for Kimberly-Clark, I worked with several of their leading brands, including Huggies, Pull-Ups, Depend and GoodNites. While each brand had specific agendas and requirements, they shared the same goals of increased awareness, branding and market share. I developed a series of campaigns over many years that included market research, full sites, microsites, custom articles, expert advice, contests, live chats, blogs, e-newsletters, editor’s letters, polls and more. For the GoodNites portal shown here, we also created a community from the ground up and a Parent Panel to serve as a voice for the brand on the site.

Colgate-Palmolive

Colgate-Palmolive’s goal was to introduce its Teen Spirit deodorant to parents of tween girls (ages 9-12) by growing awareness about health and hygiene. I developed a campaign titled “Tween Scene” that included a branded microsite, a custom print newsletter available for download on the site, a blog, expert advice, articles, a contest and a custom video.

Philips Norelco

Philips Norelco was interested in targeting parents of teenage boys with shaving resources and product information in order to increase market share among that desirable demographic. I developed a campaign that included a microsite housed on iParenting, articles, expert Q&A and inclusion in e-newsletters to help them achieve their goals.

AT&T Worldnet

AT&T launched a consumer portal and needed to power it up with quality content to attract and retain targeted guests on the site. I developed a co-branded parenting channel housed on their site, and supplied articles and an editor’s letter each month to welcome visitors and direct them to relevant content. This channel succeeded in attracting the desired demographic for the client for several years.

Mega Bloks

MegaBloks was launching a new toy for children and wanted to introduce the product to parents. I developed a campaign that included a co-branded microsite housed on iParenting, a blog, articles, expert insight, a contest that included the use of the product, and a custom video so viewers could see the toy in action.
