Elisa All is Founder/CEO of 30Second Mobile, a mobile-first, women-focused media company creating authentic snackable content for consumers, and engaging branded content for corporate clients. It’s first vertical is 30Second Mom, a website and app providing on-the-go moms with information and inspiration created by a panel of experts that can be read or viewed on video in 30seconds or less. Clients include companies such as Quaker, Johnsonville, Peapod and more.
Previously, Elisa founded iParenting Media, a highly-regarded dotcom acquired by The Walt Disney Company in 2007. Elisa led the company to be recognized as “Best of the Web” by Newsweek, US News & World Report, The London Times and more. Elisa led the custom division at iParenting, creating specialty content and digital consumer relationship marketing campaigns for Fortune 500 clients such as Kimberly-Clark, Colgate-Palmolive, Philips Norelco, AT&T and more.
Elisa served as editor-in-chief of six national newsstand magazines: Pregnancy, Baby Years, Women’s Health & Fitness, Family Energy, European Homes & Gardens and The Buyer’s Guide. For 10 years, Elisa was a columnist for the Sun Times Media Group. For eight years, she was co-host of the radio show Points on Parenting on WTMX/101.9-FM “The Mix” in Chicago.
After iParenting was acquired by Disney, Elisa served as Director for the Disney Interactive Media Group, where she led the integration of iParenting into the Disney Family Network. She realized the problem that media companies and Fortune 500 brands were facing: They needed to figure out how to reach and engage with on-the-go consumers via mobile and social media. Elisa’s solution was to create 30Second Mobile, providing consumers with addictive content and companies with a strategy to build relationships with the mobile audience. 30Second Mobile has been featured widely by business and consumer media and has earned numerous accolades, including selection as one of “Top Five Hottest Startups” by the Digital Collective and inclusion in the Springboard Media/Tech Accelerator, which identifies the most promising women-owned companies in the U.S.
Elisa earned her Bachelor’s in Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and her Master’s in Journalism from Northwestern University. She was recognized by UW-Madison with its Entrepreneurial Achievement Award, and she serves on Northwestern University’s Council of 100, a mentoring organization made up of NU’s leading alumnae. Elisa is the mother of three.
